I just attended a conference in Toronto for independent reps of Silpada Designs in Canada. This is an excellent organization which empowers women by providing them with an opportunity to be self-employed for a moderate investment (annual rep fee plus optional sample stock of exquisite hand-crafted sterling silver and stone jewellery). Direct sales, multi-level marketing; products can be shipped direct to the customer. Great support network of “Silpada sisters” and online tools to make it an easy business to manage. Recently acquired by Avon, Silpada (based in the U.S.A.) will continue to run as a separate company with its three founders remaining completely at the helm. Exciting times ahead!
